Ambulance Service

Ambulance services respond to individuals who are experiencing a medical emergency. Paramedics attend to clients using a vehicle for transportation instead of clients searching for a facility to receive care. Paramedics provide pre-hospital treatment and transport patients to hospitals if necessary. Patients who are experiencing a medical emergency and urgently need a medical professional call an emergency hotline to receive ambulance services.

Paramedics are trained professionals who tend to clients who have called an ambulance service. They are capable of providing patients with basic medical assistance and are able to determine if a patient needs to be admitted to a hospital. Ambulances have medical tools and resources for paramedics to utilize if necessary.

Similar to any other service, ambulances also charge patients for the care they have received. The medical industry requires patients to pay for the services they have received from ambulance services. Patients will most likely be charged for the care of paramedics even if they did not use the ambulance as a source of transportation. As ambulance services can become pricey, it is important to document all expenses including miles and services. Invoicing is a great method used to track expenses and bill patients.
