Do plumbers charge for travel time?
This will depend on the company you are working for. The company will either provide you with an automobile that is to be used for work only, or they will compensate you for the time and gas you have used with your own car. If you are a self-employed plumber, it is your responsibility to decide how time and gas will be paid for. Since plumbers travel so much, they usually charge a fee for travel time.
